Help with visual sequence please

Hi all i am trying to contruct a visual sequence, and between all my uni work and my job my brain has just shut down for the summer so i am asking for some creative ideas.

I have been given the task of creating a visual story board, that consists of 9 pictures, photos or drawings, the sequence of images should convey a situation that leads from the general to the particular and concludes with an unexpected twist.

The meaning should be self-evident and in no need of written explanation.

The topics to be chosen from and interpreted are (only one to be used):

*When the lights go up

*Dropped

*Seeds of Discontent

If anyone wants to chime in with a real life thing that happened to them or somebody they know, or a simplestory they would like to share it would be really appreciated.

Thank you.

Zac

Now Zac you know that we can't do your homework for you. This sounds like a good exercise in your imagination and visualization.

Ken, actually it is not homework at all, it is for myself personally, as a exploration exercise, i am going to show it to my friends and so on.

I am just researching for some ideas and experiences of others, Ken, i am sure something strange has happened to you before?

The best such visual stories are those with which the audience can identify.

You might look toward commercial ads for inspiration. Their producers must often tell simple visual stories in 20-30 seconds and must design the spots to be cuttable for different broadcast lengths.
