Have you submitted to a film festival before?

I have just finished a short and I am ready to submit it to film/video festivals.....My question concerns the correct way for me to put it on dvd. If you have submitted on dvd before, do you send it with a menu on the front, or do you set it up for "auto-play"?

I have idvd and plan to use it to burn my dvds....

Thanks!

The only reason to put a menu in there if somebody is able to
choose something. I've never submitted a DVD to a festival but
I would make it autplay personally. Really no need to have
additional stuff on the DVD methinks?

Make it autoplay unless they request different. Make sure when the disc plays it shows your contact info or any other pertinent film info for about 10-30 seconds, as a buffer before the film really starts (you might want to do this again afterthe credits as well). Those people watching all those movies don't wanna be fiddling with a remote/controls all day.
