Keeping Up With dvinfo.net

How do you keep up with all the activity here? There are obviously a lot of topics and posts on dvinfo.net every day. Trying to keep up with them all is time consuming. I use the "New Posts" feature and also bookmark some forums.

I'm sure many of you do this already, but thought I'd mention this — I've just started using Google Reader and a dedicated news aggregator for Mac OS X called NetNewsWire. (They're handy for keeping track of blogs) Once you've using the news reader it's very easy to add a dvinfo.net feed. On my browser I just click on the RSS icon in the address window. That gives me the option of adding a feed for that particular forum, or for the entire site. You can have feeds from multiple forums if you want to set it up that way. Then when you use your news reader, you can quickly see when there are new posts, view the original post, or dig into the thread.

Anyone have any other ideas for keeping up with all the activity here?

I started using RockMelt earlier this month. It integrates RSS feeds into a sidebar in-browser. RockMelt is essentially just a modded Google Chrome with a focus on social networking, so it's stable too. It has pop-up alerts for each of your saved RSS feeds.

Another option is that you simply can't keep up with everything.

A handy feature is that the forum sections are able to be closed (or "minimised") in terms of what is displayed to your browser. So I've closed off from view areas such as "Apple / Mac Post Production Solutions", "Community Marketplace", "Australian Video Producers Association" (I'm not a member) etc. This helps a lot.
