One of the Best Web Sites I've Seen

I'm not a big fan of flash, but this is a very impressive web site.

WOW

Those guys deserve success. Very original, AND funny!
Not to mention the nicest flash work I've seen yet.

Marc Betz November 30th, 2002 11:43 AM

I'll have to Give them kudos on that one

Very well done site.

I'm not a big flash fan either but they did a hell of a job.

Those guys.........

RULE !

Very nice site!

They do have a lot of talent.

If you like that one...check out this site. It not only has all the techno-bells and whistles, but is more artsy.

Hint: Be sure to move your mouse back and forth over the blue ink spot in the center of the screen before choosing a language.

The site is absolutely terrible from a business development communications perspective. Very little productive content, far too much "loading" time. These folks have become carried away with their medium and lost their message along the way.

With that aside, however, it's an outstanding job of Flash animation and 3D graphics. Among the best nearly pure eye candy I can recall. I might hire them to do specific animation jobs...if I could only find out who they were and where to contact them. <g>

The site is hard to navigate and doesn't showcase anything but eye candy - great eye candy no odubt, but it doesn't make me want to hire these guys for anything but fancy FLASH design.

I like fancy FLASH but it shouldn't be the central focus.

I think you missed the business site. A click enters the site (pretty simple) than when the two globes are presented, one is eye candy and the other (business) is the company site. It can be overlooked because of the flash.

"I think you missed the business site."

I saw the business site. That's where I went first. The print, multimedia and other services they offer were not presented particularly well. Most of the pages are screwed up with text getting lost in graphics. And to get back to the eye candy I had to keep hitting the back button. Not easy to navigate.

Hey I love FLASH. Use it alot. It just shouldn't wag the dog.

No one likes the Chihwaseon site?! Man! I am blown away by that site.

Rick Spilman December 2nd, 2002 05:08 PM

I absolutely love the Chiwaseon site. The sound and animation were perfect. They set the mood and told the story. Great Stuff.

I liked the FLASH much better than the trailer. I can speak about six words of Korean and could have used subtitles and a bit lower bandwith.

Thanks for pointing out the site, John.

The Chihwaseon site is very artistic. I liked the brush strokes and ink effects. The beginning with the fish was original too. It ran very slowly on my cable modem, and I'll try again later. But, it ran so slow I got bored and left.
