Podcasting at DVinfo.net

I'm betting this one has come up around here before. Sorry if it's a repeat.
I keep hearing about all this podcasting using garage band and iMoives. I have one small problem. I deleted all that #!@$%@ because I use the pro aps and don't need two editing programs, two DVD authoring programs two music programs. So can I still post podcasts that are made with the pro aps or do I absolutely have to have the iLife BS in order to do it.?
