It was some form of Sony's Betacam format - either original Beta, Beta SP, Digital Betacam, Beta SX, or even HDCAM. Knowing that they're from a news station in Miami which is a pretty big market (top 10 I would guess) they would probably be using Beta SX or HDCAM.
