How do I easily import a ton of albums into iTunes?

I have a new system I'm using and I want to import a bunch of my albums from a firewire drive in onto my computer's iTunes. I dropped said albums/songs into the iTunes Folder on the new system, but how can I then import all the songs easily into iTunes itself?

Thanks,

Heaht

iTunes is generally smart enough to know whether to copy the songs into your iTunes music library, or copy the link to it [if you have another volume]

Since you copied the files into your iTunes music library already.

Just use the FILE>Add To Library

And then point it to you iTunes music folder...... Music>iTunes>iTunes Music

The new files you added should then be updated/added to your library.
