The smallest notebooks from Japan
There is a lot more cool stuff available in Japan than in the US.

You guys don't have those over there?! I haven't been home in so long, I didn't know...but I just assumed...
Really, though...how practical are those? I see people using them here and they're scrunched over to get their arms close together so they can get their hands on the tiny keyboard...and to see the small screen. Give me a 17" Titanium any day. |
I'm waiting for the 21" Titanium.

They have some older sony laptops at the Starbucks in Sony Tower in Shinsaibashi, they are chained to the tables for people to use, they seem too small compared to my iBook. I usually close them up and place my iBook on top of them. They are small enough and thin enough to give my iBook a nice lift, so in that respect, they are just the right size.
I haven't seen anyone using those new laptops, the only ones I've seen used in public have been Macs. |
It's all desktops and full size laptops here in LA. The smallest notebook is the Sony Picturebook, which is an extremely rare find. You basically have to buy it from Sony online; I don't know of any stores that carry them.
