Will Bogen 055SPK Spiked Foot Kit fit Bogen 3001? at DVinfo.net

I've got an old set of Bogen 3001 sticks. Will this spike foot kit work on the old sticks? I searched the web for info if they will fit but no luck.

I don't know about the compatability issue, but I tried to use one of those things on my monopod, and the quality was really poor. It wouldn't stay fixed in place, and the "spike" was just a regular screw that had been crudely shaped into a point. Kind of surprising from Bogen. Upgrading to the 055SPK2 might be a good idea, but I don't have any experience with it. I'm sure the vendor would be able to tell you if they will be compatible with your tripod.
