Problem with Manfrotto Tripod

I have a pair of Manfrotto 546bk legs. There is a lever that pulls open and pushes shut that is supposed to allow the tripod leg to be adjusted and locked into place. One of the levers on the bottom portion of the tripod is not functioning properly. It does not lock tight enough to keep the leg from sliding. When I look under the lever I can see what appears to be a screw. I checked and this screw appears to be tight. Does anyone have any experience with this? I could always send it to Manfrotto for repair but I would rather not be without it.

Try opening the lock, then tightening the bolt on the back of the lock about a quarter turn. If I remember correctly, an allen wrench should have come with the sticks to adjust these locks.

Thanks Ed. I didnt even notice that screw in the back. I gave it a try but the metal screw keeps slipping out of the hole thats in the lever. The tripod is still under warrenty, so i'm going to send it in for repair.
