Opening a Cartoni Head
 

Does anyone know how to open a Cartoni head? I have a Cartoni Beta and the tilt brake has malfunctioned. It's extremely tight and cannot be moved by had. Also, i can tilt the head, only with a ton of pressure, and it's not fluid at all.

Hi Corey,

I know this is an old thread and I expect you have solved your issue already.

It looks like you have to remove the platform and the platform support (base plate). Then there should be a pin you have to drive out that locates the side casing on the central shaft. that will access the tilt brake assembly once the cover is off.

Haven't seen a Beta here although we are authorized for Cartoni service.
