Manfrotto 501HDV Strip Down
Hi All - My 501HDV has started to grate when tilting (pan is still nice and smooth) but it's not really old enough to have any worn parts so I'm guessing some dirt has got in there. To get Manfrotto to service it would be around £60 inc postage but you can get a new one for £85 so unless I can clean it myself I may as well just buy a new one which is crazy.
Does anyone know where I can get a service manual as it's not obvious how it comes apart - there seems to be only one main allen bolt which doesn't seem to free anything up when loosened. Thanks in advance Pete |
