Manfrotto 128RC, 055D

Hey all,

I got suggested this combo of tripod and fluid head for some low budget video production. I'm using a small sony mini dv camcorder right now, but plan to upgrade to a bigger prosumer cam in the future, I'm looking for a tripod that can handle that possible weight in the future, and give me some smooth panning. Is this a good combination I really know nothing about tripods and heads, except he said it's good to get one with a level built in and quick release legs. I've heard manfrotto being used for the higher end gigs, is this a smart choice for, it's in my price range. anything else that you would recomend over this either either same brand or different.

Thanks very much

Luke
