tripod and monopod QR at DVinfo.net

Hi,I use Panasonic GS400 right now but want to upgrade to something like VX series.
Would be Manfrotto 501 head enough?I want to be future proof.Or should I spend more on 503??

As for QR plates I'd like to purchase monopod ( I heard 560B is good) and want to use same QR plate as for 501,is that possible or do I need some adapter or maybe another monopod??

Hi

Just a bit of news on Manfrotto heads : they showed a new version of the 501 head at IBC, called the 501HDV head.

Also they are going to bring out a 503HDV head. I think they are the same heads as 501 and 503 except for a balancing spring or something.

I too am interested in 560B and i sawe one quite positive review of it a few days ago, - i think on this site.
