Bogen/Manfrotto Ball-Level Adapter, any good?

VideoSmith shows a Bogen ball leveler that probably works for the cheaper stands. Do you think this will work with 3221/3130 combos?

My physical adjustments to level a cam is crude at best. Up a little, down a little. First on the right side and then the left. Oops, too much, .......

By using the gadget you mentioned, the process seems, IMO, much nicer. You crank a little thumb wheel to gradually tweek it. It sounds nice to me!
