Sony Vct-550rm max weight

I have a Sony Vct-550rm tripod that is almost 8 years old. I can't find any info on the internet about the max load for this pod. What I would like to know is the max load stat from Sony. I am trying to sell it and have been asked this question but I have no manuals from the original purchase. I would think it is less than a kilo but I don't know for sure.

I don't have the info for you, but can recommend a way to find it.

Many of these tripods with the Sony name are actually made by Libec (.com). If you check their website, you may find the model that corresponds to yours, and get the loading data from the specs. Having seen a few of these tripods, I would make a guess at an 8lb capacity.
