Nikkor 50-300mm f4.5 ED vs Canon 50-300 mm f4.5 L

I decided to get the 150-600mm 5.6 Canon L.
For a wider lens I found Canon as well as Nikkor made a 50-300 4.5.
Does anyone have experience with these lenses and what is real the difference between them?
