Microphone to record birdsong on Olympus LC-5
 

A friend has got an Olympus LC-5 recorder and wants to get a microphone to record bird song and calls onto it (it has a 3.5mm mike input). Any suggestions?

You may want to post this question at The Tools of DV and HD Production/All Things Audio section of this forum. You'll have good help there by audio professionals.

I think a quality field stereo microphone with 3.5mm connection is the answer. You may want to look at this:
