Down here, we rate the skeeters second most annoying pest, right behind Snowbirds...

Cartridges are expensive, but us Florida deer hunters really like these things. It creates a zone around you big enough to keep them off you and your camera and the deer don't spook because of it. Buy the carry case too, the shape is akward.

Ok my gross story,

We did a shoot on the beach a couple of weeks ago. The day before we scouted the area and didn't see any bugs. But then on the day of the shoot, we had these flies. They were really bad, I was in shorts shooting. And when the ceremony was over, I looked down on my legs and I had blood dripping out of like a dozen bites. Lol, I never knew they were biting me during the actual ceremony, but boy when the [non-repeatable] action stopped, my legs were hurting pretty good.

I will make bug spray a part of every shoot no matter what now.

And that's my gross story.

Brian,

I live where mosquitos are only outnumbered by those in the tundra, but some years we win, or is it lose. Dead moose was atopsied and its lungs were filled with mosquitos.

I am a mosquito magnet, my friends love it, I hate it.

I do not eat bananas in the summer!! I get bugged even more when I do.

When we arre out dog training in the field some years you have to wear bug nets!!!

I would recommned staying away from the bananas.
