Hermann's Tortoise sequence 'Speedy'

Hi guys

Well this is my first shoot with my newly aquired XL2. It was the stock lens and 50mm F2.5 Macro.

1min22/ 640x420 / 80mb (Sorry wouldn't go down any more without degrading to much at this res)

Critiques very wecome :)

Oh if anyone has any good codec setting files for PremPro2 I'd love to see them!?

Herse a lower res copy at 35mb

Well worth the download Mat. My first close-up of a colourful tortoise.

Mat, liked your footage. Well edited and good choice of music.
Did you use any extra light source, I think this was very well illuminated.

I know how hard it is to get perfect focus in the macro range with the narrow dof. You did very well!

Regarding your request for codec. I use the Sorenson Squeeze Suit. I think this is a good tool for web conversion. My editing suit, Avid Liquid can not give me so good quality at such a small file size.

Hi Per....glad you liked it. Actually its all artificial light. 1x300watt Key and 150watt fill + some ambient light. It really showed me whats possible with sets and great practice with the 50mm macro for my forth coming film.

Thanks for the heads up on the codecs, I will give them a look at and test for sure....

Cheers
