UWOL #15 Theme Announcement...Tweet Roar Squeak!

This is our last regular short challenge for the year, and we can't have our year come and go without focusing on our most popular topics.

Whether furry or feathered, cold-blooded or warm-blooded, insect, amphibian, or mammal - anything goes. From smallest to largest, complex to simple, under water or over land...

Show us who is crawling, flying, swimming, running, flopping, or sitting around being still in your corner of the world.

Your topic is: ANIMAL KINGDOM

Deadline: October 30, midnight anywhere in the world

Trond Saetre October 9th, 2009 08:07 AM

Interesting theme, and once again, impossible to guess until Meryem reveals the secret.
Off to the think tank, twisting my brain...

Remember rule 11, everyone!! HAVE FUN!! :)

Dale Guthormsen October 9th, 2009 08:21 AM

meryem,

This will be fun!! I think I can even do this while hobbling around with a cane!!!

Rule 11 will prevail!!!!

even iff we have snow on the ground sub freezing temperatures and 40 to 60 km/hr winds, this is the prairies!

Oliver Pahlow October 9th, 2009 08:35 AM

"Animal Kingdom" it is then...

Mike Sims October 9th, 2009 10:16 AM

Ouch! That's a grand theme Meryem- and I have soooo much to do for the Long Form....!

Ryan Farnes October 10th, 2009 01:56 AM

Sweet theme. I just got back from the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival and totally want to film a lot more wildlife.

Problem being, I don't have my camera I've used before. All I've got now is my point and shoot canon with 640x480 30fps auto iris and 4x optical zoom.

I am going to have to be very creative. That and really develop the content & story.

Ryan Farnes October 11th, 2009 05:26 PM

Well, strike that. Just took the plunge and got a used HVX200. Back in business.

Now the focus will have to be on not letting the camera get in the way of story. :-)
