What a fun round of videos on “The Little Things” from a very talented group! Thank you all for your entries that made us think, made us laugh, and gave us so much enjoyment. They were ALL winning entries!

Thanks, also, to Meryem Ersoz for creating the UWOL Challenge and nurturing it to become the premiere nature/wildlife online contest that it is, and to Chris Hurd for giving the challenge a home here on DV info Net.

Okay, the moment you’ve waited for is here. Out of this batch of great videos emerged one that earned the top spot. With only nine entries we’ll post the top two vote-getters.

Thanks Lorinda for taking over, it is great to be back with such a fun and supportive group of filmmakers. I am looking forward to June.

In case anyone is curious about me, a colleague of mine has written a book, The Great Animal Orchestra, featuring many of our recording trips gathering animal sounds around the world. His book was published last month, and will be on the front page of the New York Times Book Review this weekend.
