UWOL 24 Theme Announcement!
 

A fairly sleepless night trying to best the theme that I had chosen awhile back resulted in nothing more than a sleepy head this morning. So you will be wowing us with your interpretation of "INTERACTION" this round!

Read the rules http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/uwol-cha...an-i-play.html even if you know them by heart. Per Johan reminded me to change the time duration limit of each entry to 4 minutes. Be judicious in your edit! Be cruel, if necessary, by cutting your beloved footage if it does not advance your story and keep us fully engaged. You will be amazed at how much you can pack into 2-3 minutes and create a masterpiece; however, if your story requires the extra time, you now have it.

All right, UWOL champs, get out there and do your thing! And HAVE FUN!!!

Interesting. I'm going to try to come up with something, but I'm pretty burned out at the moment as I have been juggling too many different projects recently, and the work has piled up. I still have to film something to try and finish off the DV Challenge documentary tomorrow if i find the time.

The good news is that I will be back on the Nile river this month. As a direct result of the short I did for UWOL 23 (The Source) I have some film work with a UK based crew. I will be on the Nile for the next couple of weeks filming some pick-up shots for their project; so thats a real benefit to doing these fun projects (the prizes are a bonus, but getting motivated and meeting people and going to new places is the real reward). So, if my UWOL 24 entry is based around the same general location as UWOL 23 then thats the explanation.

The Source is also running in an East African film festival, and will be screened at Uganda's National Theatre in November!
