What is the latest theme for contest? at DVinfo.net

Hi everbody! I signed up to this site to join in on the latest contest you folks are having. It was supposed to start on the 16th of February. Can anybody tell me if it actually has begun yet, and if so, what is the theme of the contest & the deadline. Is there a link with all the relevant info I can take a look at? Appreciate your help!

hi joe: we're very happy to welcome new participants to the UWOL Challenge. it's big fun. we will be posting a sign-up thread here on our UWOL Challenge subforum on Thurs., Feb 22. you will have exactly one week to get your name on the thread, which will close on February 28. the theme will be announced March 1. From that point, you will have a little less than 3 weeks (including 3 weekends....) to shoot your film and submit it by the deadline Monday, March 19. the theme is a tightly-held secret until the official announcement is made.

you can contact me on this thread or directly in e-mail if you have other questions. but that is the rough scheme of things.

Okay, I take several more months off the forum and this wonderful, new contest appears! And it's right up my alley!

Meryem, this is really a great idea. Thank you and your partners for making it happen. I may even rear my ugly head and enter a competition or two--that is if I can get my ugly head through the door.

greg, you're a nut! we tried the sealed mayo thingie, but it bled through the parchment and made the theme difficult to read....

nice to hear from you, jeff, we'd love to see you back in the game!
