UWOL #5 Theme Announcement...Come 'n' Git It!

I'm going easy on everyone this month. When we started the Challenge, I think most people thought of the obvious themes. Well, we have managed to avoid the obvious, for the most part. But many of you have waited patiently for animal/wildlife-specific themes, while I have laughed in your face with my "Recreation" and "Living Skies". Et cetera. Well, here it is....

MAMMALS

Show us the teat-sucking, oxygen-breathing, cud-chewing, carnivorous, omnivorous critters.

Good luck and happy shooting.

Once again a great theme Meryem :)
I think we will see many great films in this one and hopefully many different species. Good luck to everyone!

Best wishes

John, a few....???
Look at this quote from Wikipedia:
Quote:
Mammals (class Mammalia) are warm-blooded, vertebrate animals characterized by the presence of sweat glands, including those that produce milk, and by the presence of: hair, three middle ear bones used in hearing, and a neocortex region in the brain. Most mammals also possess specialized teeth and utilize a placenta in the ontogeny. The mammalian brain regulates endothermic and circulatory systems, including a four-chambered heart. Mammals encompass approximately 5,400 species (including humans), distributed in about 1,200 genera, 153 families, and 29 orders,[1] though this varies by classification scheme.

I think there are a lot of them around us if we take a closer look.

Even humans are classified as mammals but I'm not sure if Meryem will allow this brutal, not-good-looking (myself in the mirror in the morning) be judged !!! ;-)
