I hear you about the new job!! I am in a new position and have to commute too!! I haven't even had time to rake up the leaves in the yard this fall!!! I think everything except uwol 6 will have to wait till spring!!!
take an afternoon and give yourself a break, shoot video, eh?

Hi Dale and Meryem.
And I hear you about the autumn leaves Dale. Great that we're not alone in this world :)
It's 23.50pm over here and I'm at work. Started 19.00pm and will be home tomorrow at 8.30am. These 4 weeks I've had an average sleep of 4.5 h day/night, and tomorrow is my first day off. I'm gonna sleep the whole day through. I'm having fun though, stillI've got some great "pillows" underneath my eyes so I better not narrate in front of camera this time :)
I'm gonna find me a team leader in about two weeks then I'll get a more relaxing time on job.
Uwol#6 will be like salvation for me, and soon it'll be Christmas and my wish this year is a brand new T-shirt :)

All the best
Geir Inge

Hmmmmmm ..... Looks like the ladies are a bit under-represented. Meryem, I hope you will be able to contribute this round, we need to balance out all of these guys!

perhaps i should take pity on dale and geir and make the theme AUTUMN LEAVES. then they can rake their yards and shoot video at the same time.

nope. this is a Challenge, and i'm keeping it that way! mwahahahahaha.

i am most definitely putting something up this round! i'm intrigued by my own theme!

Kevin Railsback October 25th, 2007 08:59 PM

Does that mean I should go ahead and start my Shark Tank thread now? :)

Markus Nord October 25th, 2007 11:56 PM

Me me me me me me... Pick me!...
Now I got a long distanse lens as well... the old ef 50-200/3.5-4.5 L.

Kevin, it's a bit early to prepair the shark tank yet, don't you think. Besides, the sharks got way too much company last round. They don't need anything until next year!!
I'm sure you will come up with a great video this time! :)

Nice to see we got some new people joining our friendship this round.
But where is young Gabriel hiding? Can't see he's signed up yet.

Hmm, maybe the theme will be "exhausted". naw, would make Dale and Geir instant winners, haha. Don't work too hard guys, you need to have some time for uwol!

Sign me up for UWOL #6 please

Now there have been, Skies and Recreation, The Wild, Water, and Mammals…… I wonder what could be next, what ever it may be, it‘ll be good to get out and do some.

Autumn Leaves

Meryem what a wonderful idea.....my so called friend. For me to film a tree or leaf I have to travel 1000 miles due south.....and I thought we were family. I guess I'm the unloved one. LOL

If I can work the next theme I'm going to surprise everyone by showing snow. I know, I know I've never done that before so I thought I'd surprize everyone. LOL

We had our first real snow storm yesterday soooo no need to carry a white balance card anymore.

Looking forward to the theme.

Brian

Sign me up please
Hot as hell summer here with a bit of rain now and again. As long as the theme has nothing to do with snow I should be ok.

Per Johan Naesje October 26th, 2007 09:29 AM

I'm very happy that I'm just in the middle of you two - Brian and John Dennis ;-)

Meryem Ersoz October 26th, 2007 11:00 AM

can i just say how much i love running an outdoors contest that has to find a theme that can be worked out by both brian in the arctic and john in south africa?? and per, in between...

that is so freaking COOL, you guys, to have the world at our desktop, present and playing....

the good news is, that i'm going for a theme that's sure to piss everyone off, all around the world! that way, i know i'm doing a good job.

they don't call this a Challenge for nothing!

i think i need to start a "Tales of Wonder and Woe" thread right now, before we even post the theme, so that i can weed out all of the idle chit-chat from the actual signer-uppers...(of course, i'm the most guilty party of all, when it comes to idle chatter, mea culpa, mea culpa...)

Is this when we are supposed to start worrying? ;)

Meryem, you sure know how to make us look forward to November 1st.
Once more you will bring on a great theme and a real challenge for all of us.

Brian McKay October 26th, 2007 01:51 PM

I would like to join in on the last theme. I will not be competing for the prize because of my insider knowledge. But I look forward to being one of the cool participants.
