Polar Stratospheric clouds

Hi uwol friends

Here are 2 photos of some polar stratospheric clouds we could see in Norway this last week.
The first photo is from Haugesund city yesterday morning.
The second photo is from Oslo, January 20.

did you set up and shoot some video?? would be superb to see them speeded up to watch their movement!!! Pretty spetacular.

Hi Trond

Realy nice, i come from the same continent and i have never observe this type of clouds. Nice photography, amayzing, north europe is a little bit different than south.

We don't see them so often here up north either.
I read in the news papers that last time we could see them was back in 2003 or 2004. But when we finally see them, it can be for several days in a row.

Nice shots. hope to see some video of it as well.

I was in hemsedal the week this happened i Norway. The whole sky was full of colors!
