Howdy Vic! Watching this video was like going home for me. Quite a difference from last year. I’ve shot Texas wildflowers in March and understand what a challenge they can be. Wind is a constant problem. I like the low angles and the close-ups of the critters. The winecups are my favorites. Nice pretty exposures and compositions. I like the music, but it came through a bit hot on my end. It might be me- see what the others say. We Aggies have a saying, “Highway 6 goes both ways.” I’m glad it runs your way. You’ve done an excellent job showing the world what our neck of the woods looks like this time of year!

Hi Victor
You do have some nice colour out. I kind of have a choice of white or brown right now. The one thing I would have like to have seen was some info on the types of flowers. They where pretty but I have no idea what some of them are. The music gave it a laid back feeling. It was louder than the other videos I watched but I don't know if I would call it hot but that's just me. I'm getting where I need things louder.
Over all a nice piece.

It looks like you are having an early spring too. It was nice to see so many wildflowers, and even a few animals. Those look like really big caterpillars. Thanks for sharing the nice spring color.

I'll say that the focus and colors were excellent. The transitions, and fades were sort of perfect, as well as the framing of the flowers and insects. The transitions were so good that you have me wondering what type of editing software you have and what time rate of fading was used, since it was so uniform and well suited to the footage.

Hello Victor.

This is a colorful and beautiful little film.
I wonder, is it all wildflowers?
We live in a very beautiful world and you show it in your contribution.
Editing, color and music is good - and transitions too.

All the best and thank you for sharing.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful wildflowers with us, Victor! I have to confess it made me a little sad--gave me a flashback and realization that the wildflowers once dotting our local highways and foothills are all but gone now.

Small IS beautiful. However...we could debate whether those fat caterpillars are beautiful or not. Hope they don't munch up all your wildflowers so your roadways end up looking like SW Idaho!

Yes a beautiful film. I'm a fan of slow easy pans, mixes and zooms. There are plenty here. Very well executed. Some subtitles to identify the flowers and butterfly may have been an advantage. But then it easily could have become a distraction. I accept your call just to show us the beauty of the Texas landscape. We have a butterfly here in NZ with a similar appearance. A Cardinal. The music blended nicely with the scenes. Well done as it exploded a myth in my mind. I thought Texas was all desert.

Hi Victor,
A nice film you have made! The crisp colors, and the music is a good match.
The favorite was the sequence from 2:00, and the close ups of the (catarpillar?).

Well done!
