Uwol 30 - theme
 

Yet another milestone is reached. Since 2007, UWOL Challenge has been run without interruptions, and we have now reached UWOL 30!

As mentioned in the info thread, UWOL 30 will be special and with a slight modification compared to what you are used to. (A one time happening, 31 will be back to normal)

Not only can you make a "stand alone" UWOL film, but, and here is the reason for the twist:
Last year we had to put the "Around the world" project on hold. This is an attempt to see if we can bring it back to life. Wouldn't it be great if we could succeed this year!
Details will be discussed after UWOL30 is completed.


THEME for UWOL 30: MAN VERSUS WILD

And pay attention:
The first or last (player's choice) 25-30 seconds of your film:
Behind the scenes of the making of your UC30 entry: How did you make one (or all) of the sequences in your film? Challenges/ Planning... your choice how to do this.
The behind the scenes part counts towards the total length of your film!


Notice: You are not required to appear in front of the camera in person. This is up to you to deside.


Deadline:
June 30, midnight anywhere in the world.

Wow Trond – this is an amazing theme. It is so broad anyone can find something to do - the possibilities are endless!

BTW – Thanks for organizing this extra weekend – it really helps those of us who have limited time due to work!!

A very interesting theme, Trond! For flexibility, may we please put the 30 sec BTS on either the head or the tail?

So the BTS part counts towards the total time for the film?
And I'm wondering if having it at the start might take away from the film that follows.

Wow, awesome theme with a BTS twist has got my creative ideas flowing! Not at all sure yet how I'm going to put 30 secs of BTS when the ideas I already have could fill a whole hour.....

I logged on in order to post a suggestion about inserting the BTS at the end rather than at the beginning of our entry only to discover others had the same idea! Seems like a better idea to me.

Agreed, put it either in the beginning or the end as you please.

And yes, BTS is included in the total length of your films.

Just to make sure, total length is 4 minutes including the 30 seconds behind the scenes?

Correct. The BTS is included in the 4 minute time limit.

When will upload open up? I will be in London from thursday until after deadline so i will have to upload the entry before then.
