Upside Down CRT

I'm dumping some footage from a short film I'm going to edit. I know it's generally not recommended, but I want to turn over my 14 inch Toshiba Flat Screen CRT to monitor some footage shot on a 35mm adapter.

Okay, what are the inherent dangers of this and what precautions should I take first.

Why not wait until you capture the footage, then flip the image in your non-linear editor (NLE)?
