Good articulated arm for monitor?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a good articulated arm for my 7 inch lilliput monitor. I was looking into the Varizoom VZ-AR-5K (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...Joint_Arm.html) because it looks very versatile (which is a big plus, since sometimes I have to put the monitor upside down and sometimes I don't) but it doesn't say how much weight it can handle. Although it looks versatile it also gives me this fragile vibe and I don't know if it could handle the monitor's weight, plus the power cable and the camera to monitor cable. I'm probably being silly but I would feel safer to hear from someone who's used it before.

thanks

I use a Noga arm MG11043 mounted to my rails for monitor support.

I have lots of Manfrotto Variable Friction Arms (similar to Manfrotto Magic Arms) with various brackets and adaptors.

My Lilliput monitor has a standard camera thread on it, so I use the arm with a camera adaptor plate.

Here's some picture you should be able to view.

It's a really strong design. The spigots on the end of the arm are threaded and have a flat surface to stop unwanted rotation of the plates you may add to it. Brilliant desigh throughout.

I use them for holding readheads in difficult locations, supporting boom mics. I've shot timelapse stills photography with them etc. etc.
