Getting a new PC and need a suited monitor

Hey folks,
I am getting a new PC that will be used as a regular home PC and I will also use it for some video editing. The bundle listed below is what I am currently looking to get. Less than $1000 and fairly high performance.

I have an XL2 and was wondering what monitor would be best. I am looking for 19"~22". I am not a big editing person but I will be doing some. I know SD footage does not look so well on LCD HD TV's so I am wondering how SD footage looks on these monitors that are set up for HD?

Any recomendations or opinions?
