Cintiq as a 2nd Monitor

I have a MacBook Pro laptop as a second editing system at home. There is no room for a real TV monitor in the work space so I have a Viewsonic VA1912 LCD set up as a second monitor for editing HD projects. Video looks very good although I'm sure the color isn't accurate. I do all final color correction at the office anyway.

I'm finding that I am doing more tablet style work at home (mattes, artwork, etc. with an old Intuos) so a 20 or 21" Cintiq monitor is becoming an interesting option. This would mean that I would have to lose the Viewsonic. The question is if anybody has experience with the Cintiq's ability to get a reasonably accurate video image.
