Marshall V-LCD70XP-HDMI power consumption

I got a nice offer of this monitor: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/672254-REG/Marshall_V_LCD70XP_HDMI_CM_V_LCD70XP_HDMI_CM_7_LCD_Field.html
But I´m a bit confused about it´s power consumption. In the specifications it says that it should be powered by 12V, but it has the Canon battery adapter in the back, where you could mount a 7.2V battery. Would this battery give enough juice for the monitor?
I also have a couple of Anton Bauer Elipz which give 8.4V output, will these be sufficient for the monitor?

It will be used with a Canon 7D DSLR, so HDMI are ok.

Marshall has a manual for the monitor on it's product page.
