HDMI to component conversion issues
 

I have a Marshall V-R70P-HDA monitor that I would like to keep using but I am having trouble adapting it to accept signal from the 7D HDMI. Each of the components that I am using have been tested with other monitors and an HDtv They work fine but not with the Marshall. The Marshall has been tested with other component sources (the MXO2 mini included) and it works fine.

Unfortunately, I have tried two HDMI to YPbPr converters (that both work with other component monitors) and neither will produce and image on the Marshall. Today I tested the SIIG (no model number that I can find). It is a nice piece of gear. It requires power. Though I am set up to use battery power, I used the provided AC adapter. No image.

I tested at both 1080p and 720p on the 7D.

Does anyone have any idea why I cannot get one of these HDMI to component converters to provide signal to a Marshall monitor?
