Hi guys looking for a 2nd monitor connect my IMAC for FCP dual screen editing.

I seen a few tell me what you think they are all 1920x1080

You get what you pay for.

I'm sure these monitors are fine for anything other than editing. For one thing, they won't give you great color gamut or black depth. If you plan to do any kind of color correction on these monitors, your video will suffer.

You seem overly concerned with getting a 16:9 monitor. My own research showed that better 16:10 monitors were available, since this seems to be a more common ratio for better screens. A 16:10 monitor is not going to affect your video watching or editing experience (other than black bars).

For pro usage, many people prefer TFT screens. So I wouldn't get the 22" LG screen you mention.
