Lilliput 669 with internal battery

Just recieved mine today from Coolcd...super quick delivery, 6 days from Shenzen to Regina Sasktachewan...I don't get mail from Calgay that fast.
I got a package deal for a decent price $300, for the monitor, all the accessories it comes with, a short HDMO cable, 7 in. articulating arm, shun shield and two spare batteries and chager.
The batery connections abit of a pain, but they seem to last pretty well. Over two hours use fresh out of the box. they are on charger now, so we;ll test the run time tomorrow.
Seems like a pretty decent field monitor for the $$$.
nyoone have any longer term usage reports?

Is it genuine 1920 x 1080 HD?

I might be looking at getting a field monitor for using with a PS technik mini 35 - critical focus is no good on my current viewfinder.

Is it possible to magnify/zoom the image?

Based on info on the website, it's not HD at all. While it will accept HD input, the screen resolution is only 480 lines.

It cannot be zoomed, however it does have some white balance control, as well as the standard controls...It's not HD, but it's imaging is pretty good...I've only done some minimal testing with it, but it seems fairly efficient for focusing. I would personally go to the EVF on the camera for critical focus, but overall it's not a bad little monitor.
It's easier to manage/mount without a battery hanging off the back, for sure. I ran one through today until it shut down...2 hrs 42 min.

Yeah, I had not realized this was an SD monitor. However, I see that the Lilliput also make an HD monitor with HD/SDI, HDMI inputs, called the 667GL-70NP/H/Y.

I wonder if they are any good as a basic on-board monitor, and if they are really HD?

No, according to their product page, it's also still just 480.

It appears that all their 7" and 8" monitors are.
