Sony CLM-V55 and GH2

So first off I will admit to being a newb when it comes to setting up a monitor to a camera. ....blues looked great....yellows were yellow....whites were white.....and red was......well burnt orange. The reds were horrible. The cams LCD screen showed the reds beautiful.....but try as I might I could not get the reds to look red on the Sony. I finally resorted to just fiddling with settings indiscriminately trying to match it but couldn't. Just checked the footage and it matches what I saw on the cams LCD.....the reds look great in the video....just can't get them to look right on the monitor.
Any suggestions????

Mark
