Generating test patterns in ppro

I'm wondering if it is possible to calibrate a monitor using test patterns made in premiere. my setup outputs component hd video in premiere via aja xena using cineform drivers. I have a separate laptop with HCFR with an eye1. what I was thinking is to generate patterns using premiere. for example, if I need a 75% white window, I'd just make one using color matte in premiere, using premiere's waveform to check the signal being generated.

would this produce accurate results?
