Getting HD to a Plasma

I have a G5 with 2 20" displays. I will be shooting some 720p stuff with the HVX200. I know I can use the Cinema desktop preview on one of the 20" but I was going to get a 50" plasma (768 native rez) for home theater set up in the studio anyway, so the question is, how can I work the plasma into the edit suite without getting one of those expensive AJA or Blackmagic cards that do more than I need anyway. I won't have the HVX here either so I would need a PCI-x card? Is anyone working on a cheaper alternative to get a HD signal out to a plasma?
