V-Mount to camcorder battery adapter for Marshal R70P?

Does anyone use or have specs for Marshall's V-DV-PWR1 V-Mount to camcorder battery adapter? Does it work on the R70P?

I'm wondering if it will accept HVX/DVX batteries, since I don't already own any IDX batteries and can't justify buying them just for the monitor. Does it require two batteries or can it run on one?

Not much info on Marshall's site other than a brief thumb description...

Thanks,

I have one here sitting on my desk.

The unit actually uses only Sony NP-Fxx batteries. I have the R70P and it works great with the V-DV-PWR1. You do need two batteries to power the unit. I wouldn't spend the dough on the IDX system. I would go with the V-DV-PWR-1 and two Sony batteries.

You can find more specs at the bottom of this page http://www.dvcreators.net/lcd-monitors/
