Monitor Price is Ridiculous

Can someone tell me why a 9" 300 line field monitor costs more than a 15" 750 line production monitor. I just don't understand the logic.

JVC 9" 300 line field monitor:

Actually $650 for the 9" is fairly reasonable, not ridiculous at all. The primary difference that you're paying for is that the 9" is AC / DC convertible, in fact you can mount an Anton Bauer batt right on the back. The 15" is AC only. Plus you always pay a bit of a premium for portability and convenience. In my opinion both these items are priced right. Hope this helps,

Thanks, guys. The 15" JVC appears to be what I needed. You can add an expansion card that accepts component inputs. Also with 750 lines, this would work great monitorwise with the H1, HD100 and HVX, right?
