Dell reducing number of promotions/rebates

This article caught my eye since people are often recommending the Dell LCD monitors and citing the coupon codes for discounts. Dell has announced that they're simplifying their price structure:

I have no idea how this might affect prices... guess we'll have to wait until August to see.
