How about this 7" monitor?

Did anyone use this:

http://lcd4video.com/

I'm interested in buying one but I would like to be sure it lets ME flip the image vertically and horizontally. Most simply do it automatically when you turn the monitor up side down. I don't want that. I need it to use it with my letus35 and if the monitor flips the image automatically when I turn it upside down I'll end up with the image upside down anyway.

LCD Monitor

Raphael: I just purchased one of these monitors to go with the my FX1.
As near as I can tell it doesn't flip the image. However it does automatically switch between NTSC & PAL. It produces a good image & with a hood should be useable outdoors.

Hope this helps.

There is one for sale on this forum a couple days ago. This is also the classifieds forum. If you put your question in the correct section, you should get more responses.

I contacted LCD4Video about using their display with my Brevis. They said it would not do the flip function but to buy a bracket and mount it upside down (like Dennis has one).

with 480x234 pixel it is a poor resolution, but price is ok.
definitely not useful for HDV.
for a bit more you can get a liliput at 800x600

Hey, thanks. Do you have a liliput by the way? Does it flip the image horizontally? Any link to good prices?

Hum...that sounds really expensive. Any chance I might find one of those for 200€?

Giroud Francois January 28th, 2007 11:25 AM

the liliput with pc input (warranty of having 800x600 resolution) cost around 200$.
unfortunately this version does not flip and mirror.

you need the model without touch screen since it adds avery annoying layer of glass on top of the picture.
