Has anyone used sony lmd-172ws at DVinfo.net

Hi I'm thinking about getting the sony LMD-172ws with the external box as a production monitor for my hd100. Has anyone used it? Is it any good? How does iit compare to other monitors such as the 17" panasonic HD monitor or the jvc 17" crt monitor?

I would really appreciate if anyone could help me out.

Another question I have is how well the new 24" jvc lcd monitor that got a 5 rating at DV.com (it is 1080p) handles the hd100 720p signal. Does it become soft in the handling or is it a good companion to the hd100
