Barwick Multimedia 2010 demo reel
Hi all,
Been a while since I've shared anything here but thought I'd post the 2010 demo reel. It's about 2:30 long which, after much experimentation is about the length that works best for me. Any constructive comments, feedback, likes or dislikes welcome! Cheers, Matt. |
I like the song.. what is it?
|
some solid footage there!
00:55 and 02:18 I would probably love to see some more movement shots like slider shots for example, but other than that its cool :) |
Hi Matt, I watched this with interest as I'm thinking of our first new demo reel for 5 years (yes I know....) Thoroughly enjoyed it, nice pace to the whole thing and add the bubbles shot to the shots Susanto mentioned. A nice showcase for what you've filmed previously. I'd have used even more shots of the beach / ocean / surf if you have many Brides travelling to your area for that aspect of your locations as opposed to being local but other than that it's a job well done.

Matt...
I actually LOL when I saw the opening shot... Dominating the ring shots as always :-) I liked what you were able to throw together. The last 6 or 7 shots were top notch... Thanks for sharing and inspiring... Steve |
Great work Matt,
Dean's fav scene is the silhouette shot against the wall...he's watched your demo a couple of times and has commented on how much he likes it. Love the negative space shot too... |
Thanks for checking it out guys - appreciate the feedback.
Louis - song is by The Temper Trap, called 'Sweet Disposition' Santo - I knew that was coming...they're on the shopping list :) Steve.R - thanks for your comments. Hope you got a lot out of the stillmotion workshop - I know I did. Be sure to post your demo once done! Steve.W - I thought that ring shot would get a mention from you :) - your latest one is a killer. Rochelle - thankyou (and Dean) for that. I really like the shadow shot too. Looking forward to hopefully attending in July. Cheers, Matt. |
