Canon 7D & Glidetrack

Not a wedding, although admittedly I would love to film one at this venue!

Been getting accustomed to the Canon 7D and glidetrack and really enjoy it so put this sequence together whilst on a short break.

As always, feedback appeciated.

i think you have a lot of nice glidetrack shots there.

some comments/critiques here:

1. too long, i think you love your shots too much, better be a bit more ruhtless and cut down your stuff, it will be a lot more entertaining.

2. Big no no cutting back to a shot before your previous shot. you had one close up of her putting lipstick on, then you cut to a wide shot, then you cut back to the same close-up doing the same thing. This happens a few times in the clip

3. I'm not a big fan of dutch tilting but I guess its a matter of preference

4. The whole clip doesn't have any story in it. You may do this only for testing the glidetrack, but anyway, I thought you should know.

5. exposure is great, love some of the silhouettes

6. Keep up the great work :)

Hi Susanto, thx for your feedback.

Yes, always good to be ruthless. Difficult sometimes though!:)

Agree with cutting back and forth to same/similar shots, although it was on this occasion intentional. I will look into that as a possible re-edit.

I think I used the dutch tilt once for artistic impression, but I know it's personal preference.:)

This was a sequence of shots taken with the glide track and Canon 7D. There was no script or theme based storyline, although the music score chosen
was meant to set the scene and reflect the mood of this piece. In this I believe it has worked, but am happy to be corrected.

Thank you for your feedback Susanto, really appreciate it.

Cheers.
