Sometimes my two jobs line up just right where I can do something special for someone I really admire as a leader. The following video is a 2 minute expert of a military retirement ceremony that I shot last weekend.
Still breaking in shooting with a DSLR... It was apparent that day that I need to upgrade my lens arsenal. My 85mm is nice for low lighted wedding receptions. But I need something that can grab a tighter picture...

that was awesome Steve - really well done. everything about it - the message, voiceovers, imagery, natural audio - all resonated.

You should be very proud of this piece :)

Hey Steve,

Very nice piece. Which DSLR are you using btw? I remember back in the day you were messing around with Super8.... looks like you've found the right tool now. Have fun and keep up the good work.

Very nice shots, I loved your opening. As someone mentioned the nats really added to the depth of the piece. You also had exceptional coverage of the speaker, diggin the shot with the helicopter in the background. Nicely done.
