Cynthia + Brian: Highlights | Our 2nd Vid Ever

We wanted a chance to create a wedding film in our way, our style, that we presented to potential business partners...but in the end, the client didn't like it because of the song choice (so we're editing a new version to the song they want even though we're not too keen on their song choice).

But here is our second video ever synced to the song we chose! All DSLR event; we've never used traditional video cameras.

Zhong, the blacks looked crushed on my monitor. Make sure the settings you used to correct the lift are not to low. You are still getting micro-jitters at 01:59. I don't know if you resolved that on your last post? What type of adapters are you using? Do you have anything heavy on the flash mount? Are you on sticks and not a monopod?

Which parts have crushed blacks? We color corrected every clip to have a desired amount of saturation, constrast, brightness, and vivid pop without looking too unnatural.

The microjitters were because that shot was either on steadicam held as still as possible in the wind...or on tripod with the center column raised as high as possible in the wind...even post-stabilization couldn't get rid of the shake :( It wasn't the sturdiest tripod especially with the tall center column raised in the wind from that angle, and of course a steadicam zoomed in that much (unbalanced because it was balanced for the wide end of the lens rather than the zoom side) is a bit unshaky.
