Loving the Sony a7sii for weddings
Travis Heberling Travis Heberling is offline February 15th, 2016, 02:52 PM

Just starting using the a7sii as the end of 2015 and so far I love this camera!

Is the camera perfect? Heck No! but it sure does cover all the needs I have when it comes to filming weddings.

Who has been using the Sony mirrorless line for weddings? If so how do you like it so far?

I have included a few weddings I have shot mostly with the a7sii:

Awesome work! There is just something magical about that full frame "look".

Re: Loving the Sony a7sii for weddings

im reall7 thinking of switching from shooting ex1r to the a7s ii for weddings.
a few questions:
not have a servo zoom lens an issue at all?especially if you want to follow the bride in tight.
how are u managing audio? i assume an xlr adaptor like the studio 1pro that mounts on the bottom?
ergonomics? what kind of bracket, frame etc are u using or are u just handholding it as is?
any other input welcome
thx
jim
